Before you upload

A few useful details.

Clear expectations make for a smoother handoff.

Is it really free right now?

Yes. Early-access processing is free and does not ask for a card. Each account can submit 3 free recordings per day, subject to file and queue limits. A later change to pricing will not charge your existing free jobs.

Are automated transcripts ready to publish?

They are first drafts. Names, numbers, specialist terms, unclear speech, and caption timing can need correction. Review the files before publishing, or choose the reviewed-caption service.

What happens to my recordings?

Files are stored on the service’s server and are accessible through your authenticated workspace. Operators can access files to process jobs and provide requested review. Completed files are retained for 7 days; download what you need before the expiry shown on your job. See the privacy page for details.

Does a reviewed job finish instantly?

No. A reviewed-caption request needs a person’s attention. Your workspace shows when it is awaiting review. Contact support if you have a delivery deadline before submitting.

Can I upload video?

Yes. The service extracts the first audio track from supported video files and returns text or subtitle files. Choose the multilingual video service to embed selectable captions, optionally burn captions into the video, or generate translated audio tracks when enabled by the operator. Translation and synthetic speech require review.
