How to use
CaptionDesk.

From your first file to a multi-language video export. Every export stays in your private organization workspace until its retention deadline.

1. Create an account and select a workspace

Register with an email and strong password, then sign in. Each account gets a personal workspace. Use the workspace selector to change organizations; a manager can add colleagues who have already registered. All members of one workspace may access that workspace's jobs.

2. Upload a recording

Choose Transcription for plain text, Subtitle package for TXT/SRT/VTT, Reviewed captions for human approval, or Multilingual video for an MP4 with selectable captions. Select the language spoken in the source recording; for video exports choose a specific language rather than auto-detect.

3. Add optional video languages

For a video job enter target language codes separated by commas, such as es,fr. They must be enabled by the operator and local translation models must be installed for the selected language pairs. To burn text directly into the picture, choose a language in the burn-in menu. To synthesize spoken-language audio, enable dubbing if offered.

4. Monitor the processing queue

The job may progress through uploading, queued, processing and ready states. Payments are not required while free mode is active. If paid mode is enabled, the confirmed rate is shown before processing. Human-reviewed jobs wait for staff approval. Large video encoding and speech synthesis can take much longer than transcription.

5. Download or preview

Choose ZIP for all deliverables, TXT for written words, SRT/VTT for subtitle editing, or MP4 for a downloadable video. Multi-audio MP4 files generally work best in VLC or a desktop video player. In-browser language previews are available when dubbing is enabled. Download results before they expire.

6. Check the output

Listen to the recording and review names, technical terms, translation accuracy, subtitle timing, and synthetic voices. Automatic output is not guaranteed to be suitable for legal, medical or regulated accessibility needs.
