Frequently asked
questions.
Why are there daily limits?
The operator sets free upload quotas, file size and duration limits to keep the queue usable for everyone. Workspace-specific allowances may differ. Upload allowances reset at 00:00 UTC each day.
Who can see my media?
Only members of the selected organization and authorized service operators. Workspaces do not grant access to other organizations. Do not invite unauthorized colleagues.
What is the difference between closed and burned captions?
Selectable subtitle streams can be turned off or switched to other languages by compatible video players. Burned-in text is permanently rendered into the pixels of the video and cannot be disabled.
Can an MP4 contain more than one audio language?
Yes. The original audio and synthetic language tracks can be stored in one MP4. Not all browsers can select audio tracks; VLC is recommended for downloaded files. Separate language video previews may be provided in the workspace.
Does the service clone the speaker?
No. Its local synthesis produces basic, computer-generated voices. It does not recreate a particular person's voice or guarantee natural dubbing.
How accurate are translations?
Quality varies with the original transcription, language pair, context and specialized vocabulary. Every translated caption and dubbed audio track requires review before publication.
Is my recording sent to an external AI API?
Transcription and enabled translation/speech generation run on the configured host. The operator may use external infrastructure for email, payment, DNS, and for downloading software and model packages. Consult the privacy notice and ask the operator about any service-specific arrangements.
When do files expire?
Finished media is retained for 7 days by default. Contact support for account or deletion requests.
